This project presented some challenges due to the barrel shape of roof. The building was occupied and much of the contractors’ work had to be completed after hours.
Federal Government Exterior Cladding Improvements
The Dominion building was originally constructed between 1935 and 1936 with an approximate gross footprint of 2,620 m².
Hospital Campus Parking Garage Condition Assessment
In accordance with the original scope of work included in the proposal, FSA reviewed original and repair documentation (drawings and reports) and conducted a detailed visual review of all structural elements to assess the condition of the subject structures, including but not limited to cracks, delamination, spalling and efflorescence.
Custom House Roof and Heritage Masonry Rehabilitation
Custom House was originally constructed between 1856 and 1859 for the government of the United Canadas, and was designed by the Montreal, Québec architectural firm of Hopkins, Lawford and Nelson.
Government Research Campus Building Envelope Commissioning
