The staff of Fishburn Sheridan & Associates Ltd. have backgrounds in architecture, engineering and design, just as do many of our clients. Our expertise, however, has been narrowly focused over years of experience and technical upgrading in the selected areas of building envelope engineering, roof consulting, life and fire safety consulting, and related structural issues. We actively seek participation in projects where these skills complement and support those of other building professionals.
Our role in larger project teams is most often as specialist consultant in a supporting capacity. As such, we are accustomed to working collaboratively and sharing our expertise and resources to best suit the goals and needs of the project team, whether our role be in design review, quality assurance, or materials testing. We do this by developing a good understanding of the project requirements, delivering our technical contribution to the project development accurately and on time, and by fostering better communication of the requirements and goals between team members.
